Though the rain acted as a spoil sport in our entire journey, but Rovy’s captivating explanation about the village and his enthusiasm kept our spirits high. We got to know a lot about the Angami culture, its roots, their traditional way of life, their warfare techniques and skills, weapons that they used, agricultural practices and so on which was really fascinating. The food served to us was delicious and very homely. The warmth and hospitality of the people of khonoma really touched our hearts.
