Day 1: Arrive Dimapur – Khonoma

Arrive at Dimapur and transfer to Khonoma Green village. Evening at Leisure.

Day 2 : Khonoma – Dzuleke Sightseeing

Today we shall explore Khonoma village and Dzuleke. Khonoma is the first green village in India and a very ideal place to experience nature, culture and history. Later drive towards dzuleke valley and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Day 3 : Khonoma – Nature walk to Mezoma

Today we shall do a nature walk to the valley of Khonoma and trek (1 hr/easy trek) to Mezoma. Do a village walk and explore the angami village. Walk into a house, meet and interact with the locals there and have tea. Evening drive/trek back to Khonoma for ovenright stay.

Day 4 : Khonoma – Kohima sightseeing (20 kms/1 hr)

Today we shall explore places in and around Kohima. Visit the local bazar, WW II cemetery, State museum, Kisama heritage village and Kigwema village. Drive back to Kohima for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Kohima – Imphal (143 kms/5 hrs)

Today we shall drive to Imphal the capital of Nagaland. On the way visit some tribal villages.

Day 6 : Imphal Sightseeing

Today we shall explore Imphal city. Visit Ima market, Shri Govindaji Temple, Kangla fort, Museum and Cemetery. Afternoon drive to Andro village which is famous for pottery. Drive back to Imphal for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Imphal -Loktak Sightseeing (52 kms/1.5 hrs)

Today we shall drive to Loktak lake, the largest fresh waterlake in the country. Loktak has floating islands where you would find huts build and people dwelling on them. Meet fisherman and interact with them. Do boating (extra payment) and explore Loktak lake. Drive up to Sendra Island and enjoy the beautiful view of Loktak lake.
