This Trip will highlight one of Nagas best communities in terms of culture and traditions. You will get to see authentic villages on the Indo Myanmar border including a village visit inside Myanmar. We shall get to see the aged old burial practices, the caves, traditional institutions, etc.

Day 1: Arrive Jorhat – Mokokchung (110 kms/5 hrs)

Meet a Pier Tours representative at Jorhat Airport and transfer to Mokokhung, The land of the Ao Naga tribe. Overnight at Mokokchung.

Day 2 : Mokokchung – Noklak (140 kms/5-6 hrs)

Today breakfast, we shall drive to Noklak via Tuensang, Stop at Tuensang for a break. Proceed to Noklak. Afternoon Explore Noklak and the vicinity. Get to see the age old burials of the Khaimniungam community where you will get to see the skulls lying in the caves. Get to see morungs and the granary systems.

Day 3 : Noklak – Mt Khelia

Today we shall start our trek to Mt Khelia. Explore the flora-fauna and the picturesque landscape and the beautiful terrain. Halt on the way for photographs and refreshments. Overnight at Base Camp.
