Day 1: Arrive Dimapur – Transfer to Kigwema Village

Arrive at Dimapur Airport and meet our representative for your scenic drive towards Kigwema Village, located near Kohima. The journey takes you through winding hill roads and forested landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to a traditional homestay. Spend the rest of the day acclimatising to the altitude and relaxing in the peaceful village environment. A short village walk may be arranged if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 2: Kigwema – Dzukou Trek – Base Camp

After an early breakfast, drive for about one hour to the trek starting point. Begin your trek towards the Dzukou Base Camp, which takes approximately 2 to 3 hours at a steady pace. The trail passes through forest paths and open ridges with scenic views. Upon reaching the base camp, rest and enjoy the surrounding landscape. The evening is free to relax and soak in the mountain atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at the base camp.

Day 3: Base Camp – Dzukou Valley – Kohima

Start early for a short trek of about 30 minutes to one hour to reach the main valley. Explore the vast grasslands, seasonal streams, and flower-covered slopes at leisure. After spending quality time in the valley, trek back to the base camp. Pack up and descend to the Viswema pick-up point. Drive to Kohima and check in to a homestay. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 4: Kohima – Dimapur – Fly Out

After breakfast, depart from Kohima and drive back to Dimapur Airport. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours, covering around 65 kilometres. Arrive in time for your onward flight with unforgettable memories of the Dzukou Valley trek.
